The Meridien hotel and conference centre was a large project for Starwood Hotels in Oran on the coast of Algeria a beautiful setting with stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea.
The interior design was by Hersh Bedner, one of the biggest hospitality design companies in the world, they sent us the specification of what they wanted and we produced 9 beautiful chandeliers.
strong wooden crates were made for transporting the chandeliers to site and we packed two chandelier frames in each of four crates and one chandelier and tools in a fifth, all the crystal was packed in a sixth crate, the crates were sent to Valencia in Spain and then on to Algeria.
When the crates got to site they had to be lifted up to the top floor with a crane, our technicians unpacked them and installed them in the room.
A gentleman called Mick Adamson call me one day and asked if he could he come to my factory and discus the manufacture of some chandeliers for a ballroom he was adding to his hotel in county Durham, he was in London buying some furniture and fittings for the ballroom so he came up to our factory the next day with his designer I asked him had he any style of chandelier in mind he said no but what he was looking to do was to create the wow factor in the ballroom and as you can see from the photo it definitely has the wow factor.

In 1989 we were asked by the designer John Hunt to supply some chandeliers for two function rooms we made six chandeliers for one room and four large crystal chandeliers for the ballroom, that was 30 years ago and the chandeliers are still there and looking as good as when we installed them.

Antonia Stewart Designs who works on some very high end projects in London and in the Home Counties she designed two modern style spiral chandeliers that turned out very well as you can see from the photo.
One of the Four Seasons many banqueting rooms is the Oak Room, when the hotel was having an upgrade we were asked to supply two large brass chandeliers with 6 wall lights to match for this room.
The design we came up with was 16 horn and oak leaf arms on two rings one large lower ring and a smaller upper ring. The wall lights were a bow and tassel back plate design with five bugle arms and Oak Leaf enrichments to match the chandeliers.
We were contacted by Areen Design to carry out some work on a private residence in London, part of the work Was to supply chandeliers for some of the rooms, one of the rooms was a large sitting room, we showed them A 15 light solid brass design they liked the design and the finish they decided on was bronze, the designers were very pleased with the results.
